3. German-Chinese Congress on the Mid-Sized Sector
The German-Chinese Congress on the mid-sized sector is back for the third time. The Chinese ministry for industry and information technology (MIIT), the city administration and the association of metal entrepreneurs Jieyang extend an invitation to come to the million metropolis Jieyang on the 12th to the 13th of June 2017. The dialog between German and Chinese companies will be the center of attention. The organizers stress that the event has developed into a platform for joint discussions and an intensive exchange of experience.
Considerable interest
The first Sino-German mid-seized sector Dialogue took place in September 2016 in Germany. The focus of the three-day event was the Metal Eco City. The mid-sized sector dialogue gave German and Chinese companies a platform for common discussions, visions and ways of cooperating.
The mid-sized sector dialogue is the German equivalent to the “German-Chinese SME conference”, which took place in Jieyang for the first time in 2015: Approximately 1,000 representatives of Chinese companies, politicians and organizations took part in the conference, as well as around 100 delegates from Germany. More than 122 foreign institutions and companies from Germany, Austria and Spain as well as 132 Chinese companies came together for discussions. 105 technological innovations from 38 German companies were showcased, and 24 cooperation agreements and 27 memoranda were signed.
