One Novelty for IFAT is not enough: Beyond the Limits with GERVASI Ecologica

GERVASI Ecologica is showcasing for the first time at IFAT its production of semi-trailers for the transport and recycling of scrap and waste materials.

GERVASI Ecologica is showcasing for the first time at IFAT its production of semi-trailers for the transport and recycling of scrap and waste materials. The company will be present in two exhibition areas, in Hall B4 (stand B4.111/210) and in the open-air area (stand FGL.810/10) where it will display one of its flagship productions: the semi-trailer with crane on chassis. Semi-trailers with cranes are not very common on the international market and certainly represent a novelty for IFAT.

GERVASI Ecologica wanted to promote them in order to show everyone the advantages that these vehicles can bring to the development of the circular economy. But what makes semi-trailers with cranes so special? In a word, you could say Autonomy. They make possible the collection of waste anywhere and at any time, regardless of the presence of personnel and big loaders on the ground. Without Limits. In addition, compared to equipments on trucks, a semi-trailer with crane has a greater capacity, in terms of both weight and volume. All with the usual guarantee of strength and longevity, that has always been the hallmark of GERVASI Ecologica. But the novelties for IFAT do not end here. We are used to seeing flawless, shiny, perfect vehicles at trade fairs. Just out of production and with just a few kilometers on the odometer.

How it would be interesting to see a vehicle that has experience in the field, a vehicle that has travelled the roads, carried materials and unloaded over and over again? Actually, one of the novelties at IFAT will be precisely that: seeing a semi-trailer that has already worked. The semi-trailer on display will in fact be the Cobra KR delivered to a Swiss company at the beginning of 2022, and since then fully operational in the collection of scrap, paper, green waste and much more. The decision to exhibit a used vehicle at IFAT is clearly an out-of-the-box choice, driven by the confidence of being able to talk about sturdiness and attention to detail that last over time. Without being afraid to show the signs and wear of work but communication will be unconventional too! Thanks to artificial intelligence, words become voice and tell the story of GERVASI Ecologica’s work in a series of Podcasts, available easily and at any time on Spotify, Spreaker and the main streaming platforms. An on-demand narration in four languages, rightfully entitled no limits.

When the novelty is not new
GERVASI Ecologica is used to seeing flawless, shiny, perfect vehicles at trade fairs. Just out of production and counting only a few kilometres on the odometer.

It is a pleasure to admire them under the spotlights. But have you ever thought how interesting it would be to see a vehicle that already has experience in the field, a vehicle that has travelled the roads, carried materials and unloaded over and over again?

Think how much it could tell the company. How effective would be the story of the sides and profiles of a body that has already hosted loads of different materials, of the rear doors that have already been opened and closed hundreds of times, of the chassis and the crane, already protagonists of many loads and unloads. There are so many details that define the value of a semi-trailer over time and there is nothing better than looking at them with your own eyes.

One of the novelties at IFAT will be precisely that: GERVASI Ecologica will be able to see a semi-trailer that has already worked, courtesy of our customers John and Gilberto Gheza. The semi-trailer is the Cobra KR, fitted with a 46 cubic metre Hardox body and crane on our original chassis. The semi-trailer, delivered in January 2022 and fully operational since then, is employed in the collection of scrap, paper, green waste and much more.

Gheza family has been working for over forty years in the field of ferrous materials collection and over time has enriched its activity with new spaces, vehicles and services, contributing to the regeneration of scrap materials for about 60,000 tons per year. The project grew phone call after phone call, discussion after discussion, and soon turned into a beautiful collaboration between people who are passionate about their work. We are therefore very proud to bring to IFAT what we have produced for them!

The choice of exhibiting a used vehicle at IFAT is clearly out-of-the-box, inspired by the desire to showcase a real product, rather than produce just to showcase a new item. So, GERVASI Ecologica is introducing in this prestigious setting for the first time, handing over our message and the proof of our quality to a semitrailer that has already worked. Without being afraid to show the signs and the wear and tear of work. The company is sure when it tells about longevity, sturdiness and attention to detail. And then, what is more valuable than sharing the experience?

When the objective is to recycle, to protect our planet, everyone’s contribution is essential. That’s why the company believes that making available to everyone not only their experience as manufacturers but also their experience as end-users is essential to improve and make the waste recovery process more and more efficient.

So GERVASI Ecologica invites you to come to the show in Munich to get to know us and to find out how our Cobra KR has (not) changed since delivery!
