Forrec Introduces TX1600: The New Shredder for Tyre and Rubber Recycling

The new TX1600 shredder for the disposal of End-of-Life Tyres has been designed by Forrec in order to respond to specific market’s demands, without giving up productivity.

The correct disposal of ELT Management (End-of-Life Tyre) is a global issue becoming increasingly crucial. In order to fulfill the new and different requirements involving the correct disposal of End-of-Life Tyres, Forrec has developed a complete system for the treatment of this kind of waste.

Forrec designs and manufactures actual enhancement plants for scrap tyre recycling: zero impact systems which allow to get a clean product that can be used as a second raw material for many contexts.

TX1600 Shredder is one of the latest solutions developed by Forrec for tyre recycling.

The TX1600 shredder has been designed to respond to specific market’s demands, without giving up productivity, which must never fall below five tons per hour for the treatment to be economically sustainable. The new TX1600 shredder is equipped with special “clean cut” blades to overcome the problem of fraying the steel wire contained in the rubber of the tyre. The innovative blade system (blades are easily interchangeable) is designed with particular attention to operating costs. Low speed and high torque guarantee maximum performances with low consumption. A plant using this new technology has already been supplied by Forrec to a customer in the United Arab Emirates.

Since 2007 Forrec designs and manufactures industrial plants and a wide range of shredders and grinders for recycling and disposal of any type of solid waste: MSW, Weee, refrigerators, plastic, wood, paper, electric cables and motors, hospital waste, etc. Forrec team of professionals, technicians and designers works to develop tailor-made and modular plants: increasingly advanced and environmentally-friendly technologies able to work in a fully eco-sustainable way.
