In-House Automation at the LM-GROUP

With the acquisition of TIG Automation, the LM-GROUP has further extended its market position. The Meppen-based LM Holding GmbH & Co. KG (LM-GROUP) takes control of TIG Automation GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, with retroactive effect dating to 01.01.2022.

With the 100% takeover, the LM-GROUP has gained a strong partner in the field of automation technology. “We will continue to be a reliable partner to our customers and, in future, develop and implement projects in the field of digitalisation together with the LM-GROUP,” says Udo Arbeiter, Managing Director of TIG.

For Michael Ludden, Managing Partner of the LM-GROUP, this step is a logical strategic step for the group, which works in plant construction and mechanical engineering. “Our complex plants and machines require intelligent controls and automation, supporting the operator in the best possible treatment of recyclable materials. Together with the team at TIG, we will be able to make the process expertise within the LM-GROUP available to users so they can achieve even more refined plant control. In this way we can ensure the quality requirements of recyclables are met today and in the future, optimising the circular economy,” Michael Ludden states.
