Two Weeks Left to Nominate the World’s #RecyclingHeroes for a Chance to Win $1,000

With Global Recycling Day 2020 rapidly approaching (18 March), there are just two weeks left to nominate the world’s unsung #RecyclingHeroes and join the ranks of David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg as champions of the environment and recycling.

The Global Recycling Foundation, the team behind Global Recycling Day, is inviting people from across the globe to nominate individuals, business or communities that are setting examples and pushing boundaries with their recycling initiatives to be a #RecyclingHero.  The deadline for nominations is 8 March 2020.

Ranjit S Baxi, Founder and President of the Global Recycling Foundation says: “We want to celebrate the world’s unsung #RecyclingHeroes, from children, schools, teachers and professionals to businesses and communities, and everyone in-between. 10 winners from across the globe will receive a $1,000 prize to contribute to their recycling initiative, and the Foundation will promote their work to audiences across the world. They will be announced on Global Recycling Day itself – 18th March 2020.”
