EDGE Innovate is set to showcase its range of mobile shredding solutions at IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management. The five-day exhibition commences from Monday 30. May to Friday 3. June 2022 at Messe München.
After an absence of 4 years, it’s back to face-to-face business and the team at EDGE is excited to meet customers old and new. The EDGE Innovate team will be present at Hall B4 #405/504 to discuss all your recycling solution requirements as well as showcase our next-generation waste shredder, the VS420. Revealed in March 2020 at Con Expo, Las Vegas, the VS420 design has benefited from EDGE’s decades of knowledge in the design, manufacturing and installation of mobile waste shredders. It is no surprise that EDGE Innovate’s VS420 twin shaft shredder has quickly gained a reputation as a world-class shredder. With its high capacity, reliability and low running costs, the EDGE VS420 is proving to be an excellent shredding alternative to what is currently on the market.
The Edge VS420 – Tried, Tested & Proven
On display, the VS420 has been developed for ultimate versatility and high resistance to contaminants with a number of customisable shredding programs and chamber configurations available. An intelligent operating system incorporates a tramp metal protection system which provides the ultimate security from contaminants and prevents asset damage.
At the heart of the VS420 are twin, 2m (6’7”) long synchronised, high torque shredder shafts that can be customised to suit a customer’s exact application and desired product piece size. EDGE’s twin shaft design provides exceptional material intake, ensures less wear, promotes self-cleaning and prevents material wrapping even in the toughest of applications.
The VS420 offers operators a host of design features such as: ‘Shred & Stack’ functionality, hydraulic hopper extensions with built-in locking mechanisms, a large automatic remote-operated tipping hopper, hydraulic height adjustable twin pole magnet and a “One Point” service area which makes daily maintenance checks possible from one vantage point.
